This stereo has no CD player. It consists of a black box that contains the amplifier, radio, etc. and a wired waterproof controller that can be conveniently mounted. The box is enabled for Bluetooth audio streaming so you can stream your favorite music to the stereo wirelessly from any Bluetooth device. There is also a USB port for connecting MP3 players or flash drives. RCA Aux audio inputs are available for patching in the audio from any other audio source like a TV or computer.

I have a 2012 Yamaha SX210 with the stock radio, i. JBL Marine Radio JBL MR18.5 AM/FM/CD Water. Have a JBL marine version MR-32. Where is the auxi. The controller is completely waterproof and impervious to rain and splashing not submersion. The box has plasticoted circuit boards to protect against corrosion, but it is not waterproof and should be mounted out of direct exposure to the weather.
